On June 10, 2015, the National Bank of Cambodia and the Japan Financial Services Agency exchanged letters on the sharing of their experience and expertise in the area of bank supervision. In view of the growing globalization of the world’s financial markets, this exchange of letters (EOL) aims at strengthening cooperation between both authorities. Based on the EOL, both authorities would promote the exchange of their experience and expertise for enhancing legal and regulatory frameworks as well as financial markets in both countries.
The EOL would provide an engaging opportunity to the NBC to further enhance practical knowledge and skill of its staff in order to contribute to developing and maintaining the stability of the banking system, which in turn, sustain the financial and macro economic development.
