Seminar on "Financial Deepening and Inclusion"

On October 30th, 2015, the National Bank of Cambodia organized a seminar on “Financial Deepening and Inclusion“, which was presented by Ms. Zhou Sarah Yong, IMF resident representative in Cambodia. This seminar aimed to develop and strengthen capacity of NBC staff on benefits and impacts of financial development on economic growth and financial stability. The important role of banking supervision in financial stability and financial development aiming at sustainable economic development was emphasized during the seminar.
