On December 7th, 2015, the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) organized a bilateral meeting with the Bank of the Lao PDR, to exchange information and views on the recent economic and banking sector developments in both countries, so as to promote the relationship and enhance cooperation under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of the two central banks.
On that occasion, H.E. Chea Chanto, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, and the management of the NBC, warmly welcomed the delegation of the Bank of Lao PDR, led by H.E. Somphao Phaysith, Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR. The meeting has successfully concluded and both central banks expressed its commitment on further enhancing and expanding bilateral cooperation in the future
