H.E. NEAV CHANTHANA, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, attendsthe 11th Meeting of the FSB Regional Consultative Group for Asia on 2nd December 2016, in Hong Kong. In the meeting, she presented to the group the impact of financial technology on retail payment in which promoting financial inclusion, the use of local currency, and regional integration. At the same time, such advancement of financial technology brings about a new kind of risk where appropriate regulatory approached need to be put in place to strike a balance between financial inclusion, customer convenience, and financial stability.
