On May 9, 2018, H.E. CHEA Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of the National Bank of Cambodia, is attending Financial Stability and FinTech Forum organized by Alliance for Financial Stability with Information Technology (AFS-IT) in Hong Kong, China. The forum was attended by over 100 people from various backgrounds and institutions including FinTech Expert, policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, FinTech companies and media from Asia and around the world. H.E. CHEA Serey was also invited to be a guest speaker to present “Innovation and Stability in Asia : Tackling financial’s practical challenges.” The purpose of this forum is a platform to identify, map, evaluate and address digital challenges to the stability systems in order to promote and strengthen standards, process and arrangement to counter money laundering, illicit transfers, terrorist funding and to reinforce cyber-security in order to ensure financial stability and efficiency of mobile financial transactions as well as minimize inconvenience to the consumer and intermediaries.
