On May 28, 2018, H.E. CHEA Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of the National Bank of Cambodia, attended a conference on “Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2018: Towards Resilience” hosted by National University of Singapore and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore. The conference was attended by academics, government officials, and members of the business community. The purpose of this conference was to provide an opportunity for participants to come together to analyze and discuss the salient issues facing Singapore as ASEAN Chairman and Southeast Asia as a whole on various topics including: geopolitics and diplomacy, regional economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and cyber security. H.E. CHEA Serey was also invited to share her expertise on a panel discussion regarding “Regional Economic Cooperation”.
