The National Bank of Cambodia is celebrating ASEAN Savings Day on 31 October 2020. The ASEAN Savings Day which is celebrated every 31 October of the year is initiated to promote public awareness on the importance of saving, in line with the efforts of the ASEAN member states to promote financial inclusion in ASEAN region and countries, which is a priority task. Saving is crucial for future needs and emergency. Furthermore, the ASEAN Saving Day will also help promote the saving culture which will help mobilize saving and contribute to better financial management. Cambodia, like other ASEAN member states, has been promoting and enhancing financial inclusion by formulating National Financial Inclusion Strategy 2019-2025.
