On 22-25 August 2023, Mr. Heng Bomakara, First Deputy Director General of Banking Supervision, attended the Digital Financial Inclusion Festival, organized at Jakarta, Indonesia, with the main theme "Digital Financial Inclusion for Sustained Economic Growth" and took part as a panelist in the OECD seminar on "Achieving Quality Financial Inclusion and Literacy in the Digital Era" to share country’s experiences in promoting quality financial inclusion and literacy as well as consumer protection mechanism that NBC has been implementing.
This Festival aims at sharing and showcasing policies, best practices, and initiatives in promoting digital financial inclusion for sustained economic growth; and increasing public awareness on the importance of digital financial literacy.
