H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), led NBC officials to conduct examinations on the implementation of the circular on loan restructuring at banks and financial institutions on September 11, 2024 to assess the progress and effectiveness.
This is an on-site examination that H.E. Governor usually joins with the officials of the National Bank of Cambodia, which is the Cambodian monetary authority, in the routine assessments of compliance with laws and regulations such as circulars implemented by banks and financial institutions.
In the same mission, other six teams guided by H.E. Deputy Governors and senior management of the National Bank of Cambodia also did their respective on-site examinations at other banks and financial institutions.
