On September 19th, 2015, H.E. Chea Chanto, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, participated and delivered speeches in the 7th China-Asean Summit Forum on Financial Cooperation and Development, co-hosted by Shanghai Gold Exchange and other relevant Chinese financial institutions, in Nanning, China. This forum invited representatives from Central Banks, financial service Regulators and financial institutions in ASEAN and China to exchange views and experience on regional gold market development. This summit also provided leaders and delegation in financial sector from ASEAN and China, an opportunity to enhance the amical relationship and strengthen the cooperation in the regional financial sector dvelopment.
During his mission, H.E. Chea Chanto also allowed Mr. Luo Jun, Chairman of Guanghi Beibu Gulf Bank, to pay courtesy call and discuss about the potential and performance of Cambodia’s economy and financial sector. He also met with Ms. Lila Lu, Executive Marketing Director of Shanghai Gold Exchange International, to discuss about the future cooperation between the two institutions.
