On 28 August 2017, Her Excellency CHEA Serey, Director General of Central Banking of the National Bank of Cambodia, gave a presentation on "Visions of the National Bank of Cambodia on the Business Plans of Small and Medium Enterprises in Cambodia" during a technical seminar on "Role of the Institution and Strategies for Human Capital Development, Labor Productivity and Sector Performance" held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The objective of this seminar was to improve the capacity of the national core technical team, aiming at building a national specialized agency to conduct strategic analysis and provide policy recommendations in the framework of labor economics, labor productivity and competitiveness. In the presentation, Her Excellency CHEA Serey also highlighted the situations facing SMEs in Cambodia, the efforts of the National Bank of Cambodia to promote access to finance, the development of SMEs, and solutions to the challenges faced by SMEs.
