On Thursday, 26 May 2022, His Excellency Rath Sovannorak, Assistant Governor and Director General of Banking Supervision, with the high representative of His Excellency Chea Chato, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), presided over and delivered opening remarks in the Webinar on “Opportunities, Challenges and Functions in The Implementation of Bancassurance Business” which was jointly organized by Insurance Association of Cambodia and The Association of Banks in Cambodia. This webinar was participated by around 200 participants from the NBC, Insurance Rgulator of Cambodia, Insurance Association of Cambodia, The Association of Banks in Cambodia, banks and financial institutions, and insurance companies, and was organized to enhence the understanding of banks and financial institutions and insurance companies on Prakas on Conditions for Bancassurance Business of Banks and Financial Institutions and mainly focus on function and procedure for requesting to act as corporate agent for bancassurance business. In addition, the webinar provided Q&A session, in which the NBC’s official joint as a speaker.
