On Monday, 4 July 2022, at ROSEWOOD Hotel Phnom Penh, the NBC and the “Techo” Startup Center of the Ministry of Economy and Finance also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “the Cooperation of Electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) Framework” under presidency of Her Excellency Dr. Chea Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of Central Banking (NBC), and His Excellency Dr. Kong Marry, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MoEF) and Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group in charge of e-KYC Framework. Through this MOU, the NBC and the MoEF will work together to examine the availability of using CamDX, a public data sharing platform for digital Identity verification.
