The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) organized a seminar on NBC‘s monetary policy tools on 12-13 September 2023 at Center for Banking Studies Sen Sok which was presided over by H.E Kimty Kormoly, Director General of Central Banking, National Bank of Cambodia. The seminar was organized to broaden more understanding to banks and financial institutions on monetary policy instruments adopted by the National Bank of Cambodia, as well as the theory on the implementation of the interest rates corridor and average reserve requirements to strengthen liquidity management more effectively. In this workshop, experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and NBC’s officials presented on this topic with the participation from representatives of banks and microfinance institutions, as well as NBC's officials.
