H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, participated in the Vaduz Roundtable forum on "Financial System 2023" in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, on 15-16 September 2023, with the invitation of Prince Michael of Liechtenstein and Professor Thomas Puschmann, Managing Director of the Swiss FinTech Innovation Lab.
This Forum brought together prominent figures from esteemed universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and MIT, as well as the private companies and regulators including Mastercards, Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation, AutoPay, Bank of England, Swiss National Bank, etc. to discuss and exchange views, experiences and key take aways with the aims of promoting the new digital innovations in the financial sector.
Some of the main topics include the role Central Bank Digital Currency in improving the financial system, technology for a sustainable agriculture economy, robotics in daily life, and regulations for financial technology.
