H.E. Yim Leat, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia presided over the certificate handover and the closing ceremony of CEOs and Shareholders/Board Member Training Workshops on “Roles of Governance in Ensuring Commitment and Effective Implementation of Client Protection in Banks and Financial Institutions”. Under the leadership of the National Bank of Cambodia, the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) in collaboration with the Cambodian Microfinance Association (CMA) organized eight workshops with approximately 316 participants. This workshop aims to promote good governance and strengthen customer protection mechanisms, focusing on:
1/-strengthening the leadership and technical capacity of the management and staffs 2/-the structure of leaderships and clear management system 3/-Transparency of the institutions information 4/-Involvement of all stakeholders, BODs, and CEOs and 5/-Investment in human resource development.
