H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia and H.E. Hélder Lopes, Governor of the Banco Central De Timor-Leste, presided over a bilateral meeting on July 22, 2024 at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Hotel.

This bilateral meeting is the beginning of cooperation and the strengthening of close ties between the two central banks in order to contribute to the further development of the banking sector of the two countries. On that occasion, the governors of the two central banks also signed a memorandum of understanding, which will contribute to strengthening the capacity of technical officers of the two central banks, as well as strengthening technical cooperation.
