H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), presided over the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting on Financial Sector Development, held on August 1, 2024, at the National Bank of Cambodia.

The meeting aimed to continue to discuss the draft Strategy on Financial Sector Development 2021-2030 to expedite the finalization of the strategy.

The meeting approved the overall content of the strategy and suggested that the technical team of each respective institution technically scrub and finetune the text before submitting it to the Economic and Financial Policy Committee (EFPC) and the Royal Government of Cambodia for approval and implementation.
