H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), allowed Mr. Asad Yaqub, Resident Representative the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Cambodia to pay his courtesy, bid farewell and express his deepest gratitude on August 12, 2024, at the NBC.
Mr. Asad Yaqub, whose tenure as the Resident Representative of the IFC for Cambodia has come to a close, highlighted the effective cooperation between the National Bank of Cambodia and praised the developments of Cambodian banking system that supports the economic growth.
At the meeting, H.E. Governor expressed her appreciation for technical support from and close cooperation with the IFC through Mr. Asad Yaqub. She also encouraged the IFC to increase its investment in Cambodia's banking sector.
