The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) launched the Bakong Tourists App on 19 August 19, 2024 in Siem Reap province at a ceremony presided over by H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia. 
 
The Bakong Tourists App will contribute to promoting the tourism sector in Cambodia by providing digital payments through which international tourists make payments effectively and easily as well as get new experience with this new tourism product.
