H.E.Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, met with students who successfully passed the 2024–2025 Bacll Exam in Prasat Sambor and Santuk districts, Kampong Thom province, on 1st October 2025. The gathering was attended by approximately 1,000 parents, teachers, students, and local authorities.
On this occasion, H.E. praised and commended the achievements of the students, who demonstrated perseverance, patience, hard work, and dedication to learning in order to attain such positive results. She also extended her congratulations to the parents, guardians, principals, and teachers for their valuable contributions to this success. At the same time, H.E. encouraged students who were not successful this year to continue striving, to remain resilient, and to view this year’ experience as valuable preparation for achieving success in the next examination.
In Kampong Thom province, a total of 5,795 candidates (3,319 female) sat for the Bacll examination in the 2024–2025 academic year. Of these, 224 candidates from Ta Aok High School and Kampong Chheuteal High School in Prasat Sambor district passed, representing a success rate of 93.5% (209 students). Meanwhile, 585 candidates from Hun Sen Phnom Santuk High School, Tang Krasaing High School, and Kampong Thma High School in Santuk district passed, with 516 students achieving success, equivalent to a pass rate of 88.21%.
The National Bank of Cambodia continues to actively support and promote education by sponsoring additional training courses each year for students preparing for the Bacll examinations.
