H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, presided over the inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed concrete road at Hun Sen Prey Kdei Secondary School on 23 November 2025, in Taing Krasao Commune, Prasat Sambor District, Kampong Thom Province.

Measuring 4.6 meters in width and 160 meters in length, the new road reflects the commitment of the leadership and staff of the National Bank of Cambodia to support the advancement of the education sector and contribute to national economic development, in alignment with the Royal Government’s strategic development goals. The enhancement of school infrastructure—such as road systems and educational facilities—plays a vital role in ensuring safety, convenience, and a more conducive learning environment for students and teachers.

On this occasion, the Governor urged parents and guardians to continue supporting their children’s education—both boys and girls—so that they may actively contribute to Cambodia’s progress and elevate the nation’s standing on the international stage. She further encouraged students to remain diligent and committed to their studies, recalling the long-standing Khmer wisdom: “Work hard first, enjoy later,” as a reminder of their responsibility to honor the sacrifices of their families.
