H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, presided over the handover ceremony of a newly constructed sanitary facility at Tang Krasaing Primary School on 24 November 2025, in Sang Khlaeng Village, Tang Krasaing Commune, Santuk District, Kampong Thom Province.
The facility was designed to ensure proper lighting, ventilation, hygiene, and user-friendliness, with dedicated restrooms for female and male students, as well as persons with disabilities. On this occasion, H.E. emphasized the crucial role of access to clean water and adequate sanitation in promoting public health and well-being. She also encouraged the active participation of the school and community in the long-term upkeep of the facility, in order to strengthen donor confidence and support the continued development of similar projects in other educational institutions and communities.
It is noteworthy that the sanitary facility at Tang Krasaing Primary School was funded by Shinhan Bank (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., in partnership with Raksa Koma Foundation, who provided coordination support throughout the project.
